Dirk started his career in Belgium learning the home renovation and building trade from his father, a Master Carpenter. His dad taught him the value of working hard and doing home renovation jobs with exacting care. Dirk worked in carpentry, cultivated his passion for home renovation and studied to become a certified electrician. Eventually Canada’s lure was too great, and Dirk and his wife Michelle Goyvaerts became Canadian citizens and have been working in the North American building and home renovation industries for more than a decade.
